Beáta Kuraj

Beáta Kuraj is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. She completed her master’s studies in Art Design under Professor František Burian.

In her work, she strives to focus on the overall form of the audiovisual piece, integrating it with costume design. She perceives film as her artistic medium. She works predominantly on stylistically and visually striking projects, and her dream is to make a horror comedy in a 1990s aesthetic. For her production design on the film Tony’s Plan, she received a nomination at the Czech Film Critics’ Awards.
