Costume Designer

Matilda was born and raised in Prague. She began her career as a production designer but soon discovered her true passion for costume design. She gained valuable experience assisting the designer duo LAFORMELA on their Essentials 2020 and F/W 2022 collections, and later completed an internship at the fashion university ESMOD in Paris. Over the years, she has contributed to numerous short films and commercial productions, collaborating with companies such as Stink Films and WeAre Productions. She has also been actively involved in theatre, designing costumes for a wide range of theatre productions.

In 2022 she worked on the TV series Five Years (dir. Damián Vondrášek), which went on to receive multiple Czech and international film and television awards. Additionally, she has assisted renowned costume designers Joanna Eatwell and Manon Rasmussen in the costume department at Sirena Films, contributing to projects directed by James Hawes and Thomas Vinterberg.
